Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse
The liver is one of the most amazing organs in the body. In the Chinese medicine, liver is directly connected to the eyes. Liver and gallbladder congestion is very common; consider how many people have had their gallbladders removed. This buildup is the result of overeating, alcohol, tobacco, various chemicals, medications, pesticides, herbicides, and other substances the body has been exposed to, and is trying to eliminate. Liver filters toxins from the blood and moves them to the gallbladder where they are stored. This cleanse, by Hulda Clark author of ‘The Cure for all Diseases’ was designed to safely and easily move those stones out of the body. Although not really fun, it is the best method I have found to cleanse the liver and improve health and digestion.
You will need; 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts, ½ cup of high-quality organic olive oil, 2/3 to 3/4 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice, 4 to 8 tablets of ornithine (an amino acid), large plastics straw and two pint jars with lid.
Day 1 and 2; drink 4 to 8, 8 ounce glasses of apple juice for two days before this was soft and the stones and make elimination easier it mostly fruit and vegetables.( I dispense with this)
Day 3: eat a light breakfast of fruit or juice and vegetables, or nothing for lunch. Choose a day like Saturday so you can rest. Take no unnecessary pills or vitamins. This allows the bile to build up pressure in the liver. High pressure will push out more stones. Do not eat or drink after 2:00 PM. Mix 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts in 3 cups of of water in a jar. This makes four servings of three-quarter cup each.
6:00 PM: drink one 3/4 cup portion of Epsom salts solution. Rinse your mouth if you don’t like the aftertaste.
8:00 PM: repeat drinking 3/4 cup portion of Epsom salts solution.
9:45 PM: pour ½ cup of olive oil in a pint jar. Squeeze grape by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with a fork. You should have about 3/4 cup of gapefruit juice. Add this to the olive oil. Close jar and shake hard until watery. Do not drink yet. Grapefruit juice is the only juice that will do this with oil. Now go on use the bathroom.
10:00 PM: Shake hard and drink the potion you have mixed. Take the ornithine with the first steps to make sure you will sleep through the night. Drinking through the straw helps it to go down easier. If you having a problem with the taste use a bit of a maple syrup to chase it down between the sips. Drink standing up and finish within 4 to 5 minutes at the most. ( I drik it all immidiately without a straw)
Lie down immediately. You will not get many stones out if you don’t. Lay on your right side, relax and go to sleep. Next morning upon awakening, take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking Epsom salts solution. Don’t drink this prior to 6:00 AM, then go back to bed.
Two hours later, take the fourth dose of Epsom salts. Then go back to bed again, if you can. Another two hours later, you may eat but start with the fruit juice only. One hour later eat some fruit, one hour later you can eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered. I personally prefer to fast that day and I eat next morning.
Expect diarrhea in the morning and for the rest of the day. Green and brown stones are gallstones. They will float in the toilet. Cholesteryl crystals will appear as tan colored “chaff” floating on the water. Count them. Hulda Clark says you will need to eliminate hundreds to thousands to eliminate bursitis or allergies. You may repeat cleanses monthly until no more stones are passed.
According to Hulda now you will look forward to clearer eyes, skin, shiny hair, and lower cholesterol, plus the ability to digest fatty foods more easely.
Dandelion root, artichoke and other bitter green foods will cleanse the liver on a regular basis. Milk thisle extract is another herb that will improve bile flow and heal the liver.
*** Those who have problematic gallstones, intestinal obstructions or are pregnant should consult with a naturopathic physician before undertaking a liver cleanse.
